I am work­ing at mak­ing sure I start each day with some daily read­ings. Once upon a time I was quite faith­ful about it, then I quit, then I real­ized how much I missed them. The other day the quote on the bot­tom of one of the pages was, “We should have much peace if we would not busy our­selves with the say­ings and doings of oth­ers.” That was from Thomas a Kem­pis. Then another read­ing said, “We should speak lit­tle and lis­ten long.” That was from a book of Chero­kee read­ings. Okay. Mes­sage received. I have a thick head and an even more stub­born will.
