UMMMM

Okay…having heard the coyotes again last night, thinking it is time to call the DNR.  About a week ago we heard just one, howling…no kidding…really howling and that was freaky. Then last night we heard a whole group barking and snarling. Sounds do carry far, especially in humidity and yet the fact that I can hear them makes me nervous. My husband says the horses aren’t scared of them and that they the coyotes will stay away knowing they will get kicked, and yet the horses are always in bunches these days, even laying in the grass in a group which they never do. The dog is another story…a coyote, or group of them, will and do attack dogs. That has me worried. Yep, time to go call the DNR.

Oh…and yes the storms missed us, for the time being.…I will be so glad when this round is over and has moved on. One more day of watching the skies for now. I hate tornadoes.
