Have the grand baby here for a few days so will be off the grid although know­ing his techno-geek par­ents and his uncanny mechan­i­cal abil­ity at age 1, he could prob­a­bly show me a thing or two here!! Nev­er­the­less, intend to devote full and mean­ing­ful grandma time to him as he is feel­ing a bit bereft. It was fun and games until about 5 when dad didn’t walk in the door and then mom wasn’t there to read “Good­night Moon” to him. You think a one year old doesn’t know. But they do, and he does. He will be okay. Sad, but okay. Grow­ing up is so hard!! If it means I have to rock him to sleep every night to com­fort him until he goes home, then that is what we will do. His miss­ing them is the right thing for him to do and I am glad he does. Still, a Sada­su­rus is the sad­dest thing.….….….….….….….….….

And yet…I see a prime oppor­tu­nity here to teach him some really great thing that will absolutely annoy his par­ents. Let me think.….hmmmm.…
