HI-BYE

September 25th, 2009

Short and sweet.
Daughter practicing her labor moves and everyones plans to get to the hospital.Everything worked like a charm except baby decided to stay awhile indoors.
Hoping next time the real thing but not waiting around to drive 3 hours to see so headed up there real soon.
Hang in there with me and keep checking back! […]

IT MIGHT JUST BE ME

September 17th, 2009

I don’t know about you folks, but I’ve about decided that pets beat kids in the “how much money” it costs to have them!! Holy pet food prices!! Make that holy vet prices too!! It may just be me, but I am kind of tired of paying an arm and a leg just to feed […]

DRIVERS ED

September 15th, 2009

My son, who walks to work, often complains, and rightly so, about the crazy drivers he sees and, unfortunately, encounters every day. Having lived in the “city” and now live in the “country”, I have to say that country driving is scarier. At least in the cities you kind of have a clue what might […]

FAVORITE SAYINGS

September 13th, 2009

Comments that will keep me smiling this week.….
My daughter-in-law when commenting on why she isn’t online much says it is because “velcro kid” is demanding her attention. HA! Perfect name for the little guy at age one.
Tonight.  Text from daughter who is due in a couple weeks.…“Yikes, there’s a crib in my house!!!”.
I love my family.

HECKLER

September 9th, 2009

I find it really hard to believe that someone, who was elected to represent the people, heckled the President tonight. How childish. If that person were from my state, they’d be getting an email right about now. If you disagree with the health care reform plan, get yourself a committee and come up with ideas […]

4 WEEKS

September 3rd, 2009

Was visiting with my daughter tonight. She is about a month away from her due date and is starting to really feel the weight, both literally and figuratively, of being 8 months pregnant. She is slowing down, tired, things hurt she never thought could hurt.  Gosh do I remember that time!! You are so excited […]

MAN IN THE MOON

September 2nd, 2009

While out on a drive tonight, we noticed the moon was full or almost full and perfectly clear. If you glanced at the moon tonight, there would have been no squinting to see, no moving your head back and forth to find it, no lying about seeing the face in the moon. It was as […]
