A mother, when told this evening about the dam­age done by her sons on a recent canoe trip dur­ing which they became quite drunk, hence the destroy­ing of another per­sons prop­erty, first said ” well, it doesn’t sound as if any­thing THAT valu­able was ruined.” When then told the dam­age was at least $160, which is really not the point at all,  then said, “well, boys will be boys.” Your kid­ding me, right?

Remind me the next time these self same boys destroy more prop­erty or maybe a car or some­ones life while drunk, to have some­one call their mother and say, “Well, boys will be boys!!”.
